HEATH CROSSING
Heath, TX
The 55,000-square-foot Tom Thumb anchors Heath Crossing as a contemporary neighborhood market that elevates the everyday grocery experience while establishing a vibrant retail anchor for the surrounding community. Designed with a balance of modern expression and regional warmth, the building’s exterior pairs wood accents with light stone and brick, creating a welcoming architectural presence that complements its context.
Inside, the store integrates a range of experiential amenities that expand the traditional grocery program, including a café by Starbucks with indoor and outdoor seating, a full-service meat department, a florist, and a variety of prepared food offerings such as a wok bar, salad bar, and fresh fruit and juice station—each designed to encourage gathering and everyday convenience.
The development extends beyond the primary store to include two additional retail buildings totaling 19,000 square feet, shaping a cohesive retail environment that supports local commerce and community activity. A meandering pedestrian path connects the parking areas to the storefronts, while generous tree canopies and carefully selected materials reinforce a walkable, shaded, and inviting setting—realizing the vision of a modern hometown market rooted in place.
